What is coaching?
Coaching is all about forward movement, resonance and being active in your choices. Coaching removes self-limiting beliefs, it enables you to be courageous, to try out new things. It enables you to step into the place you’ve always wanted to but never believed you could. But Coaching is so much more than that. It identifies the places you are stuck, it holds a mirror up to who you are so you can see your greatness, it works to increase your confidence. And the tangible outcomes of all of that are success in life and work, bigger careers, happier lifestyles, inner peace and balance, powerful drive and ambition.
Reflecting on last year, the best thing I did was an intensivecoaching programme with the brilliant Marcie. Lots of insights,important reflections and a renewed sense of energy andpurpose. Can't recommend her highly enough!

What is the difference between corporate coaching, executive coaching, life coaching and all the other kinds of coaching? Honestly, the basic premises are the same. The tools and techniques you will use with your coach all have their foundations in the following cornerstones that;
As a client you already know the answers
A good coach will be able to meet you where you are and stay with you for the whole session
A coach will challenge you and it will feel safe for you as a client to rise to that challenge
Coach and client walk the journey together
Growth of any kind is the fundamental goal
The tools and techniques used in coaching are tried and tested. Coaching is not a regulated industry yet, so it’s important when choosing a coach that you make sure they are fully certified and accredited. All coaches at Rolling Stone Coaching are fully certified and accredited.
This is usually group coaching, or coaching from within an organisation. We are often brought into companies to bring about team alignment after a restructure or a rebrand, to help with team who is not performing, to work with the C-Suite on vision and goal setting, or to offer support to individuals within a company on an ongoing basis.
This is usually one on one coaching either paid for by the company for that client, or by the client themselves. We work with clients who are mid management and upwards to help around a huge variety of issues. These often include career change, promotion, confidence, inner critic, team management skills, ambition, motivation, work/life balance and so much more.
Life coaching is individual coaching that is not career focussed but you may sense that you are stuck or repeating unhelpful patterns and know that you want to make changes. Many clients come to us not knowing exactly what they want to change, but they know they want to show up more in their lives. Coaching unlocks where you are stuck and brings more fulfilment, resilience, confidence and focus.
I took so much from my coaching sessions with Marcie. I was a little apprehensive at first about how a career coach could help me. But Marcie took the time to really understand what it was that I was looking for and she made sure our sessions were orientated towards goals that I wanted to achieve, and checking if we were on track to meet them. She's incredibly intuitive and strikes a great balance between listening and making astute observations that can open up new ways of thinking and self-reflection. I really enjoyed our sessions together and would recommend her to anyone figuring out their career path.
